Andrew and Jenny have purchased Manner Borne Chauffeur services from Keith and Sarah Renwick after 19 years of business. Let us hope they enjoy their retirement.
Manner Borne was originally going to be named after the TV programme ‘To The Manor Born’ but that was too long a name, so it was shortened to ‘Manor Born’, but then realised that ‘Manner’ spelt in that way meant ‘Style’ and Borne is the past tense of the adjective ‘Bear’ which is to carry or transport. Therefore ‘Manner Borne’ means ‘Carried In Style’.
Andrew and Jenny have been involved with transport and hospitality all the way through their working lives.
Jenny has been involved with management and catering in large establishments as well as running her own café business.
Andrew has transport at the heart of things, this coming from his parents owning a successful taxi business in Hastings along with his uncle as well. Andrew spent time working for a company specifically attached to chauffeuring Virgin Atlantic Upper-Class Passengers all across the UK and has also had a successful career in retail as a Manager and Area Manager for major retail companies, but his main passion has always led him back to the transport industry, recently working for a local company as a corporate Chauffeur.
So, between them both, they have the experience and passion to continue the professional service that Keith and Sarah provided.
