Here at Manner Borne, we are extremely conscious of our position in the personal transport industry and, as such, cast more than a glance towards our corporate social responsibilities. The Environmental Awakening
The COVID-19 pandemic brought about an unexpected environmental awakening. As lockdowns were enforced globally, human activity slowed down significantly. This led to noticeable improvements in air quality, cleaner waterways, and flourishing wildlife. These changes served as a stark reminder of the impact human activities have on the environment. This period was an eye-opener for businesses like ours in the personal transport industry.

Smooth Driving for Customer Satisfaction and Environmental Benefit
One industry prerequisite is smooth driving, which leads to customer satisfaction. However, we are also conscious of its reduced negative impact on the environment. Smooth driving reduces fuel consumption and emissions, contributing to lower carbon footprints.
Recycling Waste
To reduce our carbon footprint, we recycle all waste generated by our operations as far as possible in a timely fashion. This includes everything from office waste to vehicle maintenance materials.
Moving Towards Paperless Operations
As part of our sustainability efforts, we have moved to a largely paperless operation. Most communication is conducted electronically across marketing material, quote dispatches, invoicing, accounting, and more. By eliminating paper usage almost entirely from our operations, we anticipate making savings equivalent to 8 trees annually.
Sourcing Recycled Products
We source recycled products where necessary, reducing our carbon footprint. This includes everything from office supplies to vehicle maintenance materials.
Partnering with Shell’s ‘Drive Carbon Neutral’ Scheme
We operate largely in conjunction with Shell as our primary fuel supplier and subscribe to their proprietary ‘Drive Carbon Neutral’ scheme. Through this scheme, our emissions are tracked and then offset along the supply chain through their global portfolio of nature-based solutions projects.
Sustainable Client Offerings
One of our small USPs as an executive hire business is the provision of complimentary refreshments and Manner Borne souvenirs.
Reusable Luxury Packaging
We have moved away from paper-based packaging to reusable luxury packaging bearing company branding that clients can take away and use for various purposes in their own lives.
Glass Bottles Over Plastic
Furthermore, in an effort to become more sustainable, we only use mineral water suppliers who provide water in glass bottles instead of potentially single-use plastic products.
Recycling Unused Water
Finally, any unused water is recycled into the vehicles’ systems to minimize waste further.

We are not blinkered here at Manner Borne.
